Mobile technology can be applied to many different aspects. Learning with mobile technologies has become easier and convenient for a lot of people.
The plan
An implementation plan on how to help instructors with classroom technology is underway. This will take place in a community college. The problem is that all staff end their workday at 5pm. Instructors who teach courses after 5pm or on Saturdays don’t have anyone to call if they need classroom technology support. The target audience are college instructors who teach after 5pm or on Saturdays. The purpose of this plan is to assist instructors that don’t have access to the college IT helpdesk or Ed Tech team. By developing this plan, a microlearning experience can be delivered for mobile technology use by the instructor at any time. The goal will be to aid instructors who work after hours in showing them how to use the classroom technology and podium connectivity.
The mobile technology plan will be implemented via QR codes and e-mail. Once the microlearning experience has been created it will be sent to all after-hours instructors via e-mail. Because instructors are not required to have their email on their mobile phone, QR codes will be posted in each classroom. The QR code will open up the Articulate Rise training directly on the Articulate site. Something to note is that if the instructor wants to access the training outside of work, they will have to login to their email on their mobile device or at home on their computer.
